A new term has begun

Check out our new Board members and meeting schedules.
 
We started out September with a lively Chiko School workshop presented by JoEllen Budnick from Buffalo, NY. In the afternoon we learned how to press flowers which we will use in November to create greeting cards.
 
October there is no regular meeting, instead we have our annual All Member Exhibition at Barnes & Noble in Pittsford Plaza off Monroe Avenue. During the Exhibition there will be 3 schools of ikebana giving demonstrations:
11:00 Ichiyo School, by Karen Napoli
1:00 Hijiri Ikenobo School, by Yasuko Spence
3:00 Ohara School, by Saskia Eller

I.I. 10th World Convention

The Ikebana International 10th World Convention in Tokyo, Japan will be held May 2012. Most ikebana schools will continue to have workshops and exhibits after the Convention.
